Julie Fuselier is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in French, Spanish and Social Studies Education.  She also attended the Universite’ d’Angers in Angers, France.

 

Julie joined Phyllis Perron and Associates in 1989 and worked in every aspect of the business, including government relations, regulatory work and association management, until forming Association Management Strategies in 2016.  She also taught French and Spanish at Zachary High for one year before joining Phyllis Perron and Associates full time.  She is a Past President of the Louisiana Society of Association Executives
and a member of the American Society of Association Executives.  She is also Executive Director of numerous professional and trade associations, as well as the Louisiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association, a member of several LA Association of Business and Industry Councils, and a registered lobbyist.

 

In 2016, Julie earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) designation, the highest professional credential in the association industry.

 

Julie participated in Sunrise Rotary for several years and enjoys fishing, traveling, and volunteering.
